I am a Class Act

So I'm updating again, how great is that? Actually, it's because I'm so bored at home, oh my god, the other day I thought I was going to have a panic attack from being so bored and from my parents being so dumb.

Hot buttered rum is DELICIOUS. My mom got the mixture at Safeway but it's a holiday drink so I'm not sure if they'll have it when I get back to Davis. But I'm going to check. And if they do, it's definitely a must-have drink. It's basically hot water, the mixture, and a shot of rum. Delicious.

Over the break, my parents have been drinking a lot with Ryan and I, and that's really weird. I don't know if I like it. The other night we played poker (I know, manly) and my brother had two beers and my dad made chocolate martinis (classy). It was weird though. My dad drank vodka on the rocks. Disgusting.

My brother left for Portland a couple days ago and it caused a lot of drama around here. He wanted to stay in a hotel room in LO for five days, and that's a lot of money, plus my mom was getting all emotional about it, but my brother went anyway and he's paying for half of the hotel costs. I would go too, except my parents were freaking out and it costs way too much, plus they'd never let me go, plus I'd have to come back to catch my plane. And then my brother asked me to buy him alcohol so he could have a party in his hotel room, and I thought about it (you know, being a cool older brother) but then I figured if my parents found out, they'd kill me. So I decided to be responsible, I'm such an RA.

Oh, and then my brother's friend came up to visit (Ryan must be really popular) and they were really noisy and I kept thinking, "Okay, just wait for Quiet Hours" but then I realized this isn't the dorms, so I had to try to go to sleep while hearing them laughing in the next room. I was really going to document them!

For Christmas, I got the really classy coat I already talked about, as well as six books (I picked them out), a couple classy sweaters, a new classy watch, and "The 40-Year-Old Virgin" on DVD, as well as other crap my mom likes to give us (i.e. a set of tools, a pillow shaped like a 7-UP can, this IKEA lamp thing, candy, etc). My mom is really random. Anyway, I was thinking the other day how classy I am now with my new clothing options. I am really classy. Just so you know. You may not recognize me when I get back to Davis. I am almost as classy as Ali. Just kidding, that's not possible.

Anyway, I can't wait to get back to Davis. Spoon & Fork, thanks for the drunk dial, too bad I didn't hear my phone ring! Okay bye.

Ok, sometimes I really think we have identical families, yesterday I thought I was having a panic attack, but I don't really know what one feels like...So today I thought of you all afternoon and when we get back to Davis I can match your Micheal Kors jacket with my Micheal Kors shoes..ahhhhh! AND your brother going to Portland is like Maeh going to NYC--really, identical families, both underage drinkers living in sin. Can't WAIT for the Chris McDonald fashion show of 2006! Miss you!

You should have documented the situation. I definitely would have backed you up. You may not have official McDonald Quiet Hours, but there IS such a thing as McDonald Courtesy Hours. Come on Ryan, get with the program!
